Mink with Chinchilla

There are many elements that determine whether your piece bears the distinction of truly finer fashion and here we present just a few things to keep in mind when looking for the perfect coat!The Hair:

Should be even, short and velvety. The guard, or longer hairs should be uniform in height and protrude above the dense underhair by only a few millimeters. Beautiful mink is never wiry or stringy.
The Pelt:
How should it feel? The fur should be perfectly soft and the leather side should feel gentle but with some character....like a leaf of sage. When looking at the underside of natural mink, the hide should be creamy. Not too white, certainly not too gray. Beautiful mink has character.
Color:
Natural mink has a depth of color and a range of hue. If natural, dark mink has a distinctive brown cast to it. Look at the piece flat. The brown should be evident. Not too red, not to gray, not too blue. Beautiful mink has clarity.
